2018 was a wild year.
It kicked off with going to Mexico in January to celebrate Emily & Justin’s truly perfect, intimate ceremony on the beach in front of their closest family and friends. It ended in December, listening to holiday tunes with Thea and Anthony in a gorgeous, indoor winter wedding. It was an adventurous, magical, full year.
It held so many of my favorite moments, couples, and venues.
I’ve compiled a gallery of some of my favorite shots, loosely organized by time of day (“getting ready,” “ceremony,” and “reception”).
Some are beautiful places, some are frozen instances of real emotion, and some are photos that probably won’t make sense without the real life commentary of the moment. Nonetheless, these are my favorite shots of the year… I did my best not to post what I thought people wanted to see, but rather the shots I truly love for whatever reason(s).
This year, I learned a lot regarding just about every aspect of work and life. One of the things I learned is that I genuinely love shooting weddings, but it is not something that I can do forever.
I am still accepting bookings for 2019, but it will be the last year I shoot weddings. Thanks to everyone who has been a part of this wild, wonderful experience. It has been awesome.
